Som Distilleries Q4 net profit zooms 165.64% at Rs 13.76 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 13.76 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 5.18 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 165.64 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 59.48 per cent at Rs 216.95 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 136.04 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 61.73 per cent to Rs 198.10 crore from Rs 122.49 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 1526.15 per cent at Rs 10.57 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 0.65 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 39.11 per cent to Rs 18.85 crore as against Rs 13.55 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.75 per cent in March quarter.
Interest declined by 14.48 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.89 crore, while Taxation increased by 133.62 per cent at Rs 10.70 crore (Mar'23 Rs 4.58 crore).
